PP Arnold live at Boisdale

Boisdale Canary Wharf, 1 Cabot Square, London

Born into a family of gospel singers, PP Arnold began her career as an Ikette with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before being urged to go solo by Mick Jagger. After signing to Andrew Loog Oldham’s Immediate Records, she worked with the Rolling Stones, the Small Faces and a host of other legends.

With an unmistakable gritty, soulful voice that could melt the stoniest of hearts, she became one of the brightest stars of the 60s scene, releasing a run of indelible singles including The First Cut Is The Deepest, Angel Of The Morning and If You Think You’re Groovy that still sound as fresh as a mountain stream.

Having recently received a rapturous critical reception for her third album, The New Adventures Of PP Arnold, she is at the very peak of her powers right now. A rare opportunity to witness a true soul legend in the intimate setting of Boisdale.
